Egg in a Hole with Spicy Sausage Stir Fry
INGREDIENTS

2 slices Bread (White
or Wholemeal)
·
2 Kampung Eggs (Fresh)
[Free Range Eggs]
·
2 Chicken sausages
·
1 Onion
·
2 Red chillies
·
1 teaspoon
Worcestershire Ssauce
·
1 tablespoon Kicap
manis(Sweet soy sauce)
·
Salt and Pepper to
taste
·
2 tablespoons Butter
·
1 tablespoon Oil
·
1 Spring onion for
garnish
METHOD
Ø Using a shot glass make a hole in the sliced
bread and set aside
Ø In a non stick pan, add in some butter and
brown one side of the sliced bread and flip over
Ø Add in a drizzle of oil in the hole and around
it, and crack an egg in the hole and let it cook for a couple of minutes before
flipping. Leave for a minute before removing it from the pan and onto a plate
Ø Slice up your sausages, onions and chillies
Ø In a pan, add in some oil and fry up your
onion and chilli until fragrant
Ø Add in your sausages and cook for a couple of
minutes before adding sweet soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and a
pinch of salt
Ø On a plate, place your egg in a hole and top
up with your spicy stir fried sausage
